Michael James Rizza
Michael James Rizza has been teaching English for the past ten years. He has an MA in creative writing and a PhD in American Literature. He has published academic articles on Don DeLillo, Milan Kundera, Harold Frederic, and Adrienne Rich. The first chapter of his recently completed novel, Cartilage and Skin, was performed at Playwrights Theatre in Madison, NJ. An excerpt can be found at AtticusBooksOnline. His writing has earned him various awards, including a fellowship from the NJ Council on the Arts. His current project is a book about the theories of Jameson, Baudrillard, and Foucault.
